Timothy (Tim) M Berchtold
President
In high school Tim participated in football and baseball. In college he played baseball for St Ambrose University where he graduated with a BS in Business Administration. Beginning while in college Tim was a 20+ years volunteer coach for Little League and PONY League Baseball. He also was a 9-year volunteer basketball coach for grade school and middle school age players.
Margaret (Meg) C Schebler
Vice President
Prior to this role, she served as the Assistant Commissioner of the same conference and also as the Activities Director at Camanche High School. Meg was the Director of Athletics at Ashford University in Clinton, IA for 17 years before its closure in 2016. Throughout her tenure at Ashford, she was recognized as the MCC AD of the Year, NAIA Region VII AD of the Year, NACWAA Administrator of the Year, NACDA Under Armour AD of the Year and was an honoree for the Women’s Connection Athena Award in the Quad Cities Region.
A native of Davenport, Iowa, Meg attended Assumption High School and participated in Basketball and Softball. She holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Northern Iowa and a Master degree from Drake University. She enjoys spending her free time with family and friends. Meg’s passion for sports and commitment to the core
values of character driven athletics brings her to Quad Cities Sports Initiative, Inc.

Originally from the Quad Cities, Tim grew up in Davenport, and currently lives in Eldridge with his family. Him and Lindsay have been married for 13 years and have 6 beautiful children. In his free time, Tim is frequently volunteering for youth sports. He enjoys spending time with his family, watching his kids compete athletically, and traveling.
Vernon A Wilmington
Vernon has a strong passion for basketball and played locally in both high school and college. He played at Davenport North and at Marycrest University where he received the honor of being an Academic All American for his GPA. Vernon loves to volunteer in an effort to uplift his community as he coached a local AAU basketball team for 5 years and participated in the Davenport Community Schools Mentoring program for several years. When time
allows, Vernon enjoys spending time with family, socializing with friends, and playing chess.
